Hello and welcome to my 6th grade class. My name is Taejin Chun and I am honored to be your student's teacher this school year. My philosophy is to work hard and have as much fun as possible. I am an advocate of discipline, character, and living a fulfilling life. It is for these reasons I left corporate management to become a teacher. In my class, we have one rule that is meant to dictate our actions and provide a foundation for our decisions. That rule is to "Do The Right Thing." I teach and encourage my students to keep this rule in mind before making a decision or taking action. I also encourage the students to ask if they are not sure what the right thing is. This school year will be full of adventure, growth, and fun and I am excited to take this journey with you and your student.

The character trait for the month of April is "Determination." Please help your students practice determination by encouraging them to overcome opposition to do the right thing. As a family project, you will be able to engage your student in character development and help them grow in this character trait.
